Submissions open for IJMS Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025)
The International Journal of Magazine Studies (IJMS) now accepts submissions for its second issue (Vol. 2 No. 1, 2025). Researchers and scholars are invited to submit original manuscripts exploring diverse aspects of magazine studies. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal aspiring for Scopus indexing, IJMS fosters interdisciplinary scholarship across Communication, Journalism, Sociology, Visual Arts, Digital Media, and more.
Edited by Carla Rodrigues Cardoso, Ana Figueiras, and Ilo Alexandre, the IJMS is committed to fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and knowledge in the field of magazine studies, welcoming a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, digital transitions, magazine journalism, and the cultural role of magazines.

Review: Double-blind peer review
Word count: 4000-6000 words (including figures, tables, footnotes, references, and annexes).
