MagNet researcher to launch book at FoM 2025

Talita Souza Magnolo, a MagNet researcher and research associate at PPGCOM/UFJF, will launch her first book, Intervalo: Magazine and Television Culture in Brazil (1960–1970) during the Future of Magazine 2025 conference, held 29–31 October 2025 at Lusófona University in Lisbon. 

The result of extensive research, the book examines Brazilian magazines dedicated to television and their role in preserving TV history in the 1960s–1970s, with particular focus on Intervalo. Through testimonies of former journalists, the book offers a nuanced, often personal perspective on how television helped shape Brazilian national identity.
