MagLab business meeting at ECREA to highlight key developments in Magazine Studies

MagLab will be holding a business meeting during the upcoming ECREA conference next Wednesday, September 25th, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in room FDV 5. The meeting, which is part of the official conference program, will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss the future of MagLab and MagNet. All ECREA participants are invited to join and share their ideas to shape the direction of the network's upcoming initiatives. Click here to add it to your agenda.

We would also like to take this opportunity to share MagLab's upcoming initiatives, including:

  • The second issue of the International Journal of Magazine Studies (IJMS) is accepting submissions until January 13th, 2025. We encourage original research and scholarly articles exploring the multifaceted realm of magazines. For more details, please visit: https://revistas.ulusofona.pt/index.php/ijms
  • The second edition of the biennial Future of Magazine (FoM) conference on 29-31 October 2025, which will bring together a variety of researchers to share insights, ideas and discuss the current status and technical challenges the medium will face in the future, as well as issues relevant to the understanding of this field of studies. MagNet members who haven’t yet confirmed their attendance are encouraged to do so by noon tomorrow, September 24th.
