MagLab announces James Hewes as keynote speaker for FoM 2025

MagLab is thrilled to announce that James Hewes, a globally recognized transformational media executive, will deliver a keynote address at the 2nd edition of the Future of Magazine (FoM). Organized by CICANT, this international event will take place from October 29 to 31, 2025, at Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal.

With over two decades of experience, Hewes has been a driving force in innovation across digital media, publishing, and communications sectors on five continents. His distinguished career includes serving as the former President & CEO of FIPP and CEO of PRCA, where he consistently led global organizations through significant periods of digital disruption and growth. Hewes is set to bring his unparalleled insights into the evolving magazine landscape, offering valuable perspectives to all attendees.

The call for papers for FoM 2025 is open until June 9, 2025. Researchers are invited to submit original research abstracts (maximum 500 words, double-blind) via the dedicated submission platform.
