CALL FOR PAPERS: abstract submissions for FoM 2025 due May 19th
The organizing committee for the second Future of Magazine International Conference (FoM 2025) reminds researchers that anonymized abstracts must be submitted by May 19, 2025, through our platform. All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind review process, strictly adhering to the 500-word limit (excluding references). The committee strongly encourages interdisciplinary contributions from media studies, journalism, cultural studies, communication design, sociology, and related fields. More info here.
Organized by CICANT's Magazine Media Lab (MagLab), FoM 2025 will take place from October 29-31, 2025, at Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal. Under the theme "(Re)Thinking Magazines: Challenges and Opportunities," the conference aims to foster meaningful discussions about the evolving landscape of magazine publishing in both print and digital formats.
