Sharon Bloyd-Peshkin is a Professor of Journalism in the Communication Department at Columbia College Chicago and winner of the 2022 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Teaching Activism Award. She is a co-organizer of the Mapping the Magazine series of international conferences, and co-editor of the book Curating Culture: How 20th Century Magazines Influenced America (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021), as well as a judge for the National Magazine Awards.
