Einat Lachover is a communications professor in the Department of Communication at Sapir Academic College, dedicated primarily to critical analysis of the encounters between gender and a broad range of media forms and contexts. Her major research interests concern media production, texts, and textual interpretation, with a particular emphasis on news and popular media, spanning both contemporary and historical perspectives. She predominantly uses qualitative research methods to explore the following themes. Her current research project in magazine studies is: Israeli Women's Magazines through a Transnational Lens: Feminism in a Mobilized Society (1980–2024).
