Dr Megan Le Masurier is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Department of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney where she taught and researched for 25 years. Prior to that incarnation she was a journalist and editor working in the Australian magazine industry.
Her research is in the area of journalism and magazine studies. She has published many articles and book chapters on popular feminism, female sexuality and women’s magazines, slow journalism, and indie magazines. She is currently writing a book on contemporary indie magazines, which she also calls ‘slow magazines’.
